I’m Alexander Akinjayeju, a London-based cyber security adviser specialising in technology risk, with more than 20 years’ experience, including senior leadership roles. Through Jayeju Security Advisory, I give small and medium-sized organisations access to senior-level security expertise: practical, independent advice without the cost of a full-time security leader.
Experience
Before becoming an independent cyber security adviser, I worked across financial services, cloud platforms, public services and critical national infrastructure, for well-known organisations in the UK and internationally. My work has spanned security leadership, security architecture, cloud security and transformation, and improving security operations across on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments, helping organisations navigate complex security, resilience and technology risk challenges.

What I’m working on now
Since 2020 I’ve also been designing and building AI-driven products, including a conversational virtual assistant. I’m currently developing a risk intelligence platform for non-human identities: the service accounts, API keys, workload identities and AI agents that run modern cloud and AI environments. That work keeps my advice grounded in where the risks are heading, not just where they’ve been.
How I can help as your cyber security adviser
I work with small and medium-sized businesses and charities that need clear, proportionate security advice, whether that’s a one-off Cyber Security Review, ongoing virtual CISO support, or help with cloud security and Cyber Essentials. Because every organisation is different, I start by understanding your risks, obligations and budget. As a result, you get a short, prioritised plan rather than a long list of generic recommendations. In addition, I can work alongside your IT provider, so that improvements actually get made.
